What are Telecommuting Jobs
You may be perfectly aware that the Internet is riddled with work at home office. The Internet strangely enough is one place that a lot of people look for home-based work offers. This probably sounds natural and makes complete sense. Internet is available to anyone and everyone and everywhere, be at home or in the office. Somehow an idea has been placed in people’s minds that they can expect to find work at home jobs that are Internet related. Somewhere there is also a certain conditioning and manipulation by certain people who have abused the reach and omni presence of the Internet to generate this false idea. The Internet has of course taken job search and job placements to another convenient level just like it has done for all other industries. Just like booking and airline ticket has become more convenient and simple due to the Internet, the search and finding of jobs has also been made easier by several career and job based portals that have opened on the Internet. But these portals are not what we call home-based job opportunities. These portals do the same jobs that job placement agencies used to do earlier. Instead of having to visit one and registering with a company you can now easily view the jobs available with them on their own online website.
But looking for home-based jobs is entirely different. Home based jobs means that you are looking for jobs that you can manage doing from home. It is wrong to assume that all home based jobs are Internet related jobs. Internet does however play an important role in most of these jobs as it serves as an extremely effective means of communication. You can send files, receive your work, assignments and even here paycheck through the Internet. But the truth is that even the home based jobs are not much different from regular jobs except that they allow telecommute commuting for people which means that people are allowed to do the jobs from home. The only difference is that whatever they are expected to do in office they are expected to at home.
People assume that home based jobs are the kind that require no experience or special skill set and can be simply clerical in nature of which almost anyone can manage. The truth is that there are home based jobs which had clerical in nature that available such as virtual assistants, customer care executives, virtual assistants and so on and so forth. But even these jobs require a person to have a certain amount of qualification and skill set as they would need to have for any regular job.
So while looking for a home-based job, look for jobs that are like a regular jobs with the regular payscales that allow telecommuting. Do not expect to find jobs that promise making a lot of money with a minimum work. You will see thousands upon thousands of such offers advertised on the Internet on the pretext of data entry, envelopes stuffing, transcription jobs, paid surveys and so many others. All these advertisements and websites want to sell you some sort of magical formula that will help you make thousands of dollars every week without doing much. They will specify and stress on the points that you do not need to be qualified or have any prior experience. This is simply not true. If you haven’t learnt this by now please note this, these typical get rich quick schemes guys in the shape and format of data entry and form filling, and posting etc are just not real jobs. Nobody is going to pay you for doing these jobs. The only people who are ending at making money out of this whole charade are the people who are advertising these scams. Thousands upon thousands of people have learnt to their disadvantage that these schemes are completely false in their promises and only designed to lose money. I speak from personal and prior experience with these kind of jobs on which I have written in further details in another section.
In short, avoid home-based job offers that do not sound like a job at all. Any website that sounds too good to be true probably is. There is no secret formula of making quick money at home without doing any work. If there was such a secret why would anybody be selling it on the Internet for a few dollars to anybody who chooses to buy it.
Avoid websites that do not list any details such as a dress, phone number or away to contact the person behind the website.
Avoid click bank links. These links are only meant to generate revenue for somebody who is reselling the scam work at home offer.
Do not join any hair brained scheme that has anything to do with data entry, typing at home, form filling, ad posting, transcription, paid surveys and any other scheme that sounds similar and has any of the points above in common in the way it sounds.
