The cost of the kit is $18.00 plus $27 for paperwork and shipping making the total cost to the consumer $40.00. The company states in its literature: "You work for yourself, so you are your own employer…We will furnish payment records to you and the IRS as required by law, at the end of the year when our payments to you exceed $600.00 in one year." We wish to caution consumers that this company is asking for social security numbers upfront on its paperwork.
