Information on Assembly E-Book Download

September 19th, 2009 — 10:31pm

This post is basically a response to an email that we received. But since the question asked was common, we thought that we will post the answer here so that everyone can get some more info. It specifically concerns the e-book download and clarifies a few things about the content, its legitimacy and the fee.

What is The Fee For….

The $7.99 is for the download of the e-book that has a list of several dozen product assembly companies ( over 300 by the last count), as well as a couple of other e-books concerning doing little things to make a supplemental information.

The other fee that is charged by the product assembly companies for joining up and what they call the start-up kit is entirely different all of which you pay to the company that you decide to work with. That has nothing whatsoever to do with us.

Is the list legit, ‘real deal’ etc ….As for the list being legit, its simply a list for what is out there. Plus 3 other e-books that you get about some interesting ways to make money from home in non-conventional ways.

You can just as easily read about several home based assembly job offers on our blog. You will find loads of information there from people who have worked at product assembly jobs. You will also find information about several prominent product assembly companies and their work at home offer. You do not need to download the e-book if you just wish to start with the ones that are listed on the blog.

Why the eBook?…..The e-book has many more assembly job offers listed than the blog. It is meant as a convenient way to have all hundreds of assembly companies in one easily accessible place. You can print it  out and start shooting off letters to them for more information. You do not have to get online every time to do it. But if that is all right with you, then you are most welcome to browse the blogs. You will find lots of rich information there.

Plus, as already mentioned the e-book download comes with 3 other bonus downloads about making some extra cash working from home.

Please feel free to share your experience and opinions on the blog for the benefit of everyone who reads it.

All the best.

What Is Your Experience

September 15th, 2009 — 1:30pm

There have been feedbacks from people about some of the SASE’s ( Self Addressed Stamped Envelopes) being returned. Seemingly the address for certain product assemble companies is no longer valid. If this has happened to you, we need to hear about it. As you may well be aware there are hundreds of such offers today that claim themselves to hire people to assemble products from home. You may also be perfectly aware that not all of them do not work out as promised. In fact most of them do not. The only way to weed out outdated information and false work offers is to get a feedback from real people with real experiences.

If you have any information about a product assembly at home job offer, do kindly share it with us on this website. Many of the major assembly jobs at home are listed.

What You Need To Do…Do a search from the search box on the side.

If a post about that assembly job already exists, post your comments under that post. If you cannot find a related post, post your comments under any related pos, such as this one.

Feedbacks from people like you is the real test of any offer, product or service. If you go through this blog, you will realize that there is a mix of bad and good reviews. The idea of getting and posting feedbacks is not simply to know what is good and what is bad. Sometimes things do not work in absolutes. Getting a few good reviews does not mean that product assembly work is wonderful and everyone can succeed in it. Like wise a few bad reviews may not necessarily mean that it is a scam.

What one needs to do is, look at the feedback analytically. If someone is posting a bad review, what is the reason. Could the problem have been avoided? For a good review, is the information current? Does the circumstances of the person who is reporting a good experience match yours?

The bottom line is that there is way too much controversy about product assembly jobs. They have been labeled as scams on many a blogs and forums. But surely there are a few legitimate ones out there! Some people have reported doing this work for years on end.

Share your experiences and make this a better work from home community for those looking for assembly jobs at home.

Will the craft you make EVER get approved?

July 24th, 2009 — 3:52pm

This is the crucial point with any assembly job at home. This is how the assembly company scams operate. You will send in your registration fee in order to receive the starter kit. When you get your raw materials you will do your best to finish the craft according to the company’s instructions. When you are finished you may be able to determine that the craft is that you have made in fact perfect and match completely to the sample product provider by the company. But what happens when you send it on inspection? You are hoping to get approved and to be receiving your paycheck within a week. But this does not happen. You find that the craft is made by you get rejected by the product assembly company on some pretext or the other.

This in fact is the major complaint by everyone against assembly companies. And this is exactly how the scam companies operate. They are only interested in having used and the registration fee to them. They have no intention of paying you. So when its time for them to send you the paycheck for your hard work, they simply reject your work does not meeting the quality standards.

Getting paid once by a product assembly company also does not mean anything. What happens when you do get paid once is that you go right back and you ordered a lot more supplies from them. While you may have ordered the supplies for one batch initially you will be excited enough after receiving your first paycheck to order supplies for many more batches. Now that you have sent the company a lot more money than you did initially your work will get rejected the second time around.

This can of rejection is however not to be confused by the appraisal process that is required by certain genera product assembly companies. The genuine product assembly company is mostly required you to send in one single finished craft to them for appraisal. You are not required to make the entire batch and send it to them but just one single finished product. Till the time this craft does not meet the quality, designed and workmanship standards of the company you do not get approved to make the products for them. They keep sending you back your craft with reports of what you did wrong and how you can fix it. Only after this one single item has got approved can you go ahead and make the entire batch with them. The intentions of such companies are to that that you should not waste your time and money making the entire batch till the time that you and the company bought can be sure that you are ready for the job.

Another feature of the genuine product assembly companies is that they do not pay you on a par batch basis. While you are required to finish your work in batches, you are paid on a per piece basis. This means that when you send in your batch there are certain crafts that up to the quality standards while others are not, you still get paid for the ones that are right.

The scam assembly companies look forward to rejecting your entire batch just because a few pieces in it were not correct.

In order to realize whether the company is trying to scam you by rejecting your product repeatedly, you have to be very objective. If you can see the difference in the product of that you made and the sample product provider by the company then you should admit that your work is not up to the quality standards. If you are completely convinced that there are no design differences and that it cannot be made better than you are probably being scammed.

Why are there so many complaints against product assembly?

July 24th, 2009 — 3:51pm

Perhaps the most disturbing thing about the assembly job is the number of complaints that have been filed against it by the people. You will come across so many claims made by people that the assembly job opportunities are false and scams. You will also come across several articles which mention personal experiences of people. Greeting all this can create a serious confusion in one’s mind. I am of the opinion that not all of these complaints are justified. According to me there are various reasons why do not succeed at the assembly jobs at home. And all of these have with the company being fraudulent. It could very well be the fact that many of these people did in fact the scammed by a product assembly company that was a hoax. But there are always other reasons that are responsible for people filing in reports of dissatisfaction with home assembly work.

Listed below are some of the reasons that I personally feel are responsible:

number one, most of the people on reading the offer for home based assembly work presume that the work of making the craft is an extremely simple one. They make that mistake of thinking that anyone and everyone can make these simple craft items with a few simple instructions that the product assembly company provides along with the starter kit. This in fact is not how it is in reality. The craft may seem easy to make description and theory but making it perfectly according to the company’s standards may prove to be difficult. Even the simplest craft products such as the bookmark is in fact tricky to make.

Number two, While it is true that almost anyone can make a simple craft item at home you must at all times remember that you will be making a craft commercially when doing product assembling at home. What you make will need to be perfect and matching exactly to the Sample product provided by the company. Any kind of imperfection will mean that the assembly company will reject your work. If every assemble working for the product assembly company makes the product little differently there will be no uniformity left in the product at all. This will in turn make the overall quality and consistency of their craft to drop and make it that much difficult to sell.

Number three, the product assembly company is that are genuine companies are relatively very small business enterprises. They cannot at any time I have too many people to work for them. People are aware of this fact. It is somewhat common for a person who has been working for an assembly company successfully do not want to reveal this fact to other people. Someone who has managed find the assembly company that pays the home assembler regularly may not want to jeopardize his or her position in the company by informing many more people about this opportunity. Since the product assembly company can only hire a few people at a time the people working for this company may want keep this fact to themselves. It is in fact a very human instinct to safeguard one’s own interest.

Number four, it is also a possibility that people may generate a false report are product assembly company. There is no proof of this but it might be done possible different reasons. Someone may want to discourage other people from joining that company because he or she may not want other people to find out. Certain websites may also generate false reports in order to attract traffic. I do not have any proof of any of these reasons given about but they all are a strong possibility.

Do not assume by reading this article that product assembly jobs are in fact safe and scams free. Most of them in fact actually hoaxes. But what I am trying to say is that that I believe that there are certain product assembly companies that are genuine craft businesses and do the people to work at home to assemble simple crafts for them.

What Are Work At Home Assembly Jobs?

July 24th, 2009 — 3:50pm

Home Based Assembly jobs are about working at home as an assembler making simple products for craft companies. The products are mostly simple craft items. You are required to have basic crafting skills ( at least that’s what you are told) in order to assemble the given products at home.

Why its called product assembly at home and not craft making is anybody’s guess. The assumption maybe that you are more or less putting things together rather than making them from the scratch. Also that the raw materials are provided to you by the assembly company ( at a cost, of course) so all that remains for you is to follow the instructions given to you and put it all together.

There are also certain product that you can assemble at home that do not exactly come under the category of crafts. For example, there is a radio transmitter and a electronic switch board assembly job available as well.

For these reason or other someone coined the phrase At Home Product Assembly or Product Assembling at Home and it has stuck.

However, if you go to the websites of any of the craft businesses that hire home assemblers, you will not find the phrase ‘product assembly’ mentioned even once. But for reference purpose, we will continue to refer to the home assembly jobs as such. (Are All Work At Home Assembly Jobs Genuine — Read More)

There are varied crafts available for assembly with different companies. If you want to work at home doing assembly jobs, you should know that the amount of money that you can make is not so much. It depends to some extent upon the craft of your choosing. Just to give you an idea, the common kind of products and crafts that you can assemble at home are stuffed toys, bookmarks, magnets, dollhouses, hair bows, capes, t-shirts, bags, Cd cases, eye glass case and many more. (How to Find the Real Product Assembly Companies — Read More)

You will need to send in some money to the company in order to start working at home as an assembler. In return they will send you a starter kit which will contain your raw materials and detailed instructions for how to go about making the craft. The craft is usually made in batches that may vary in number from half a dozen to one hundred items. You are paid per finished batch of products that you ship back to the company. ( How Much Can You Earn By Doing Work At Home Assembly Jobs – Read More)

The batch that you sent to the craft company is inspected for quality standards. If everything that you have made meets the guidelines of the company then you get your payment check. If it does not then it is sent back to you for remaking. (Will Your Products Ever Meet the Inspection Standards — Read More)

Some companies, and only a few, do pay you on the per piece basis. If there are a few items in your batch that do not meet the quality standards then these are sent back to you for redoing. You get paid for all the others that did not have any faults. Every time the company sends back the craft items to you it is supposed to tell you what you did wrong and how you can fix it. Some companies even provide extra materials at no further cost in order to compensate for the errors that you might make while assembling their product. It is for this reason that sometimes doing assembly jobs at home and getting paid for it can be a time consuming process.

In case you decide not to work for the assembly company, most of them also of a refund policy. In most cases this is only half of what you paid to register with the company. The companies that do offer a complete refund only do so under the condition that the starter kit be returned to them in an unused condition. Even then they will deduct some cost for postal expenses. Please read the Refund Guarantee carefully as they differ from company to company. ( How genuine is The Money Back Guarantee — Read More)

How much can you earn from home assembly jobs?

July 24th, 2009 — 3:50pm

The question that is now rises is how much can you expect to make by doing assembly jobs at home. The websites and many advertisements will tell you that you can make several hundred dollars every single week by making just one simple craft products such as a bookmark. I believe that this claim is severely exaggerated. First of all the work is not so simple and does not move very fast when you first begin to do with. It is tedious and you will take several weeks and several attempts to get somewhat expert at it. Even then you will not be able to finish the maximum number of batches that the product assembly company accepts in a week or month. The estimated income given by most of the that assembly company’s is for making the maximum number of batches that of the except from an assembler. You may very well be making up to $500 by making five batches a week or craft product. But the truth is that it is almost impossible to reach this kind of output. You will be lucky to be finishing one batch a week. Whatever the product assembly company promises you will be making we estimate that you will probably make 1/5 of that. A few hundred dollars every month is more offer realistic income by doing assembly jobs at home.

I often repeat one particular opinion which I feel is important and shared by many other people who do product assembling at home. Most of the people who do these can of jobs at home do it because they are craft hobbyists. They enjoy making little crafts at home and getting paid making them is not the top priority. The only way that you can enjoy this work and do it for a prolonged period of time is if you are doing it out of your love crafting. Do not expect it to make you a substantial income over a sustained period of time. Even the better business bureau states that they have no records countrywide of anybody having made a substantial amount of money doing this kind of work. While this does not mean that you cannot make some money by doing this work, you have to understand that this is not the best way to be trying to generate a substantial income working at home. If you are looking at some fun work that gives you some pocket money then this may very well be the work to you. But if you are looking for a serious home based job that will help you support you or your family financially, this is probably not the right option for you.

Can You Find REAL Product Assembly Jobs?

July 24th, 2009 — 3:48pm

While looking at any work at home offer the first contention is to be able to decide whether this offer is in fact a genuine opportunity of not. Looking for home based jobs on the Internet means that you get bombarded with advertisements for nonsensical and ridiculous home based opportunities. You have two sift through the garbage of data entry, transcription, envelope stuffing, advertisement posting and other such unreal offers. You face a similar predicament while looking for genuine work at home assembly jobs.

First of all you will come across websites that are trying to sell you a list of all the product assembly companies that exist. They will make it sound like they have hundreds of assembly jobs and that once you buy their directory you will be in a position to make hundreds of dollars a week. Next you will come across the websites of the product assembling companies themselves. Mostly all of them will have an extremely alluring sales copy that will touch the deepest chords of wishful thinking within you. You will want to believe that you can make hundreds of dollars every week by making just one simple craft product such as a bookmark. You will want to believe that the claim of the company is true. The offer like a sure and foolproof method of making easy money at home.

DO NOT FALL FOR IT. We cannot emphasize this enough. Do not believe all that you read no mater how good and genuine it sounds. Use your brain and resist the “want to believe” syndrome. The way that most of the people become victims of false work at home offers is that they do not stop to think logically and give in to their hopeful nature. There is no way to make a quick buck on the Internet. Anyway, so how do you know when an offer from a product assembly is true?

Here are the few things that you should run down the checklist in order to ascertain whether the company is in good standing or not.

1) Does the company list an address and a phone number? I don’t mean a post ox address but a real address where they are located and where you could go to pay them a visit in the office? Do they have a customer care helpline that you can call in order for you to clarify your doubts? If not, then that is not a good sign.

2) Is the communication from the company prompt and explanative? Are they willing to answer all your questions? It is a good idea for you to ask the company for some background information about themselves. You may wish to know number of years in business, number of people working for them, the nature of the business. Do not be scared of asking these questions for the fear of offending the company and loosing out on an opportunity. If the company acts offended and refuses to answer your questions directly, then the odds are that they do not have decent credentials to back up their offer in the first place and are only being evasive by pretending to be offended by your questions. No professional business will behave like that.

3) Is the attitude of the company to your questions evasive or are they forthcoming. Endorse the earlier and be wary of the latter attitude.

4) Can you locate other people working for the company? This is perhaps the only sure shot test as to the validity of any home based business offer. If you can locate a group of people that are in employment with the assembly company then that is a god sign. You can easily find out the records of the company y from these people.

5) Check out the various reports and complaints about the company filed by the people on the Internet.

6) Have at the look ate website of Better business bureau and see what standing the company has with them.

Marketing Your Crafts

April 11th, 2009 — 12:46am

All the talk establishing the target market for your own business finally leads to this point was to marketing your crafts and business.
Now that you know which is the segment of the consumer market you are going to target, you need to get your missus start to these consumers.  You need the consumer to see your business and realise that you may have a product that fulfils their need or desire.  Advertising is only one such means half marketing that you may employ for sending out an effective message to your target customer.
Marketing crafts I feel is a little different and marketing for most of the other regular products.  There are two main reasons why anybody wants to buy craft products.
Number one it is attractive and appeals to some desire of the client.
Number two it serves some practical and useful purposes that the client feels will help solve a pragmatic need in day-to-day life of stuff

There are also other factors that could people in their choice which may be fashion, style, perceived value, glamour value and the cool factor.  These are all some factors which are essentially a part of the above two main factors and we will cover each of them in detail later on one-stop
in order to market your craft well you need to appeal to the taste and the craving of your target market.  We keep mentioning the face target market all the time because it is important.  Making a craft appeal to summon means that you have to know their tastes to stop since you cannot possibly appeal to everyone’s tastes as they are all varied, it is a clever idea to find out who is the best potential client and then target that particular consumer profile.  You can appeal to a consumer taste the kitchen to any one of their own vulnerabilities.  Depending upon the profile this vulnerability can be any of the Saab nine factors mentioned above which, a sense of fashion, style, since a value Shearer practicality and usefulness of the product.  For example for the middle aged successful home and you will target this stylish and the classy vulnerability.  For the younger teenager you can target the penchant for more fashionable and being cool tendency.
When you use advertising as a medium, marketing tactics beside the course that the advertising has to take.  Since marketing is a means of getting your message across to the people, the advertising should convey the aptness of the craft to your potential client.  Everything about marketing crafts is guided by two factors.  The fiscal appeal of the product and/or its usefulness.  Your marketing tactics should convey either or both of these two to your target client.  The more your client feels that you understand the tastes of requirements the more susceptible they will be to buying your product.  The exact need requirement of your target consumer has already been determined by you when you build a profile of the potential customers that you are going to be targeting your business.
