product assembly at home jobs

Paying For A Product Assembly Directory

We dont know if this can be labelled as a scam or not. Probably not, but it is definately misleading in projection. The setback with product assembly company begins long before you decide to work for a particular assembly company. You will probably come across websites that are selling you directories of product assembly companies. they may sound like they have compiled the foolproof list of companies that is like no other directory of assemble at home companies.  Some websites also give the impression that the assembly jobs are available with them and they are the ones who are going to provide employment at home.  Both these facts are not true.
The list of the product assembly company's is the same one that has been going around for the past many years.  There are no new companies that are credible.  In fact, the known names the product assembly field flaunt this very fact that they have been around for a decade.  Sadly, we have learnt that even this does not amount to much.  Company may have existed for the past 10 years does not in that it is a legitimate home based business.  The website is selling the directory of home assembly company's claim that they have checked and cross checked each and every business and the this functioning once constantly being weeded out of list.  This in itself is a disturbing fact because what this states is that there is no guarantee that a company that has surfaced today will also be a round a few months down the line.  Maybe it will be in existence long enough to collect enough money as registration fee from innocent people who did not know better so as to recognize it as a scam, and then simply vanish perhaps to resurface in another state and under another name.  The reports from various official agencies such as the US postal office And the Better Business Bureau suggest that this is in fact a trend many companies that come about offering home based work opportunities like data entry, form filling and the likes.
But the sad truth is that no matter what the website claims they are not doing anything about weeding out the back names from the list.  The directory of product assembly company remains the same and it is the innocent buyer of such information who is left to find out to his own great disadvantage that a majority of the names are fraudulent or non-existent names of companies will pose to be a legitimate home based product assembly work provider.

The second kind of website may leave you with the impression that it is the who are providing home based employment and that once you pay the upfront registration fee which the demand you will be automatically considered for hundreds of product assembly jobs that they have.  A hundred, or a thousand, it does not really matter.  This kind of website is exactly similar in nature to the one previously mentioned.  The two simply selling a directory of product assembly companies. Sometimes to make the package even more alluring and attractive they claimed to couple it with foolproof information about easy home based jobs such as data entry, form filling, transcription and envelope stuffing.  If you don't know this by now than you should definitely committed to your mind.  It has well been known and established that these kind of get rich quick schemes are all frauds.  You are not going to be making any money from them and definitely not in the way that is promised.  To know more about such schemes and how this can people out of their hard earned money read out section on Common Scams and Work at Home Frauds.
The truth is that even these websites are not providing any sort of employment personally.  They will just saddled you with a list of so-called product assembly company's most of which only have a post box address as means of communication.  You will be sending self addressed and stamped envelopes and hoping to get a reply from these companies.  Even if you do you will have no way of knowing about the true establishment of such a assembly company, where it is located or who is in charge.  Both the website which sells this directory and the companies that the list in the directories are mostly cloaked behind postbox addresses without any tangible and quick means of communicating with them such as an e-mail, telephone or a fax number.

If in case you do find a legitimate product assembly company, please note that you will need to pay some sort of a registration fee upfront in order to join it.  This may be in the nature of a sign a fee or a free to buy your initial raw materials for making the craft from them, which is also known as the starter kit.  Since you will be paying some money to join this work, even with a legitimate product assembly company, it is highly recommended that you do not waste your money buying the directory list from any Web site that claims to be selling it.
The list of all the product assembly companies along with the details of the products that they claim to employ home assemblers to make, is listed on this very website and you can view it all that completely no cost to you.

Worthless Money Back Guarantee

If you have reached to the stage of reading this article it probably means that you have done your bit, subscribe to a home-based product assembly company, tried to accomplish working for them but, alas, for any of the other disconcerting reasons listed in this section, you have not succeeded in making any money out of it.
So now having finally having gone through the rigmarole of sifting through the multitude of such assembly at home offers from various indigenous companies, ordering your starter kit from one or a multitude of them with hopeful intent of making a substantial income from home you have finally decided that it has totally not been worth your while and that you want your hard earned money, which has been spent in futile on the registration fee or whatever else the product assembly company chooses to call it, sent back to you.  And it is only natural to expect such a turnover as before joining a home-based product assembly company you made sure that they did have a 100% iron clad money back guarantee.
You even went so far as to confirm this with whatever complication that you had with the representative of the crafting business.

I am here to tell you that this is not to be for either of the reasons listed below:

You Did Not Read the Fine Print:
perhaps you do not read the fine print of the money back guarantee in detail.  Perhaps you skipped the section that is termed as Policy and Conditions. The fine print will probably state that the money back guarantee is only valid if you returned the starter kit and the raw materials contained therein in a completely unused state. So this is obviously does not work in the case where you feel that you have been scanned and the company is deliberately denying approval to your finished work in order not to pay you. If you have consumed the full or even a very tiny part of the starter kit that was sent to you the money back guarantee is invalid. You will be surprised how well well concealed this small fact is in most of the assembly at home work offers.
This is also an incredibly clever condition to conceal in a money back guarantee. Most of the people can only decide whether the work of product assembly that from is for them not after they have actually tried to make the product at hand.  It is reasonable to assume that a person cannot decide simply by staring at the raw materials and the starter kit whether this is actually the kind of work that he or she can manage.  So in almost all cases the home assembler will probably try before he or she accepts failure.
This condition also holds true in the case of the home assembly company persistently and deliberately refusing to approve of the finished batch made by the home assembler.  If they keep claiming that the product is not matching quality standards then they do not have to provide any kind of a refund to the homeworker since he has obviously consumed the the material is provided in the starter kit in order to finish the first match of the craft.

You Only Get Partial Repayment:
so when you read 100% money back guarantee he automatically assume that they mean one hundred percent of your money back, right ?  Wrong.
They are simply trying to tell you that they are 100% committed in giving you at least some money back, and not without a certain amount of resistance.

You will never, in any case, receive all your money back. And in 99% percent of the cases, it will be less than half of the money you sent them. So regardless of whether they do send you a refund are not, it is the who and a making money out of this enterprise alone and nobody else.

Many many people have only managed to get a refund from a product assembly company when they have lodged official complaints with certain authorities such as the Better Business Bureau.

Rejection of Finished Work

this is perhaps the most crucifying argument against assembly at home jobs.  One of the major reasons why  people who have tried to assemble products at from and and earn an income call it a scam is because they feel that their work is constantly and deliberately rejected by the company as a pretext of not having to pay them for their effort.
It is commonly stated not only by the home assemblers who have experience in this kind of home-based work but also on certain prominent and official websites that a majority of the product assembling companies that offer home based work programmes unreasonably and perpetualy reject the work sent in by the people working for them. Websites like the official website of The Better Business Bureau and About.com both of which are prominent, noteworthy and respected sources of information state that anybody interested in working from home by doing product assembly should be very careful before applying to any such company and sending them money by means of registration fee.  The main reason stated for this is that people who have in the past applied for such so called home-based opportunities have not received any payment from this company.  The reason being that the company constantly objected to the craft assembled by the assembler stating that the quality and the workmanship did not meet up to the high standards of design that they are crafting business demands.  The truth, however, may be that no matter how well you make the craft of the product it will surely and perpetually get rejected at the company since they have no intention of paying due in the first place. The idea was to get you to fall for their easy and simple sounding offer to work at home.  The allure was that of no special experience being necessary and of making hundreds of dollars every week by doing relatively simple and novice work.
Once you have sent the registration fee or bought the raw materials from the product assembly company, which they also called the starter kit, the company will dispatch to you a package that will contain enough raw materials to make your first batch of product along with a sample of the finished product which you are supposed to match.  Most of the product assembly company's require you to finish an entire batch which usually contains several dozen individual items of a single craft and then send this entire batch of products to them for approval.  Only once dispatch goes through the inspection process and meets their so-called standards of design and workmanship to take dispatch your payment by means of check.
This right here lies the problem.  Your product will never get approved as the so-called product assembly company will find some fault or the other with your shipment.

Products Too Difficult To Assemble

In this section we will try and speak of the problem is that people have with product assembling at home jobs.  The first complaint that we are going to discuss is that of the crafts being too difficult.  Now this is the rather a subjective complaint as it is also possible that the person who is complaining might have misjudged the amount of expertise required to assemble a craft at home.  Most of the people believe that the work of assembling at home is simple and easy but this is not true in most of the cases.  Regardless of whether these complaints establish assemble at home jobs as a scam or not, let us discuss this problem in more detail.
The main reason why this problem occurs is that the details of the craft that you are supposed to assemble are skimpy most of the time. 90 per cent of the product assemble company is on the list in their post box of this address as a means of contact.  What you receive from them by way of information once you have sent the self-addressed stamped envelope, may or may not give you an adequate idea of the assembly job at hand.
The other product assembling at home companies that list a customer care phone line or a website also unable to provide much detailed regarding the craft barring a few exceptions.  Some of the very prominent assemble at home websites list detailed instructions and descriptions of the craft that the person is required to assemble at home.  They also offer assistance over the phone where you can enquire regarding the difficulty of a certain crafts before choosing to assemble it.
You are assisted in choosing the right craft for you based on your crafting skill level.

That said and done you must make a note of that even the seemingly simple crafts are not that simple to make.  The main reason behind it is that while you may feel that you will be able to make that simple craft you may not be able to make it to that absolute perfection which is something that is demanded of the assemble company you are working for. Since these crafts are being made for a commercial enterprise and are supposedly being sold further to buyers and wholesalers, you cannot get away with making something that does not match the design and workmanship according to the company specifications.

On a more specific note, you may keep a fact in mind that miniature items and crafts usually more difficult to make than the others.  This is because of an inherent fact that not many people are good with working with many small things with their hands.  And miniature crafts extra tiny.  The commonest reaction that you get from people who try to assemble miniature crafts at home is that they are simply shocked by the sheer small size of the craft that they need to assemble.  Some have even reported surprise to the extent where they believed that making such a tiny craft with any amount of the mess with their hands was going to be impossible.  Couple of product assembling at home companies offering miniature craft items to assemble are Tiny Details and Cottage Industries.  Tiny details offers crafts like making miniature books and doll houses whereas cottage industries offers different kinds of boxes and dollhouses which are essentially woodworking products.  Cottage industries also offers one more miniature craft to assemble which is that of the miniature bow. These boxes are approximately the size of a single dime with dimensions being that of 1 inch in thickness, lenght and width. So as you can imagine these products are really tiny in size.

Other seemingly simple crafts such as bookmark have also proven to be a handful for many people.  They have complained that while the description sounded simple the final making of the product proved to be extremely difficult.

Having said all this, many people have claimed product assemble jobs at home to be scams based on the sheer difficulty of the project and claiming that these projects were impossible to be managed by bare hands to the degree of perfection required by the company.

Inferior and Inadequate Raw Materials:

Another complaint that we have received from people who have tried to assemble products at home is that they have received substandard raw materials in their starter kit.  Most of the product assemble companies allow you to include a finished Sample of the craft that you will be assembling in order to give you an idea of what you're finished craft is supposed to look like. It is also the way of telling you what your craft once it has been assembled should look like and that if it suffers from any discrepancy from the samples supplied, your craft will probably be rejected.
The complaint received by a certain home assemblers is that the raw materials used to make this sample craft and the ones supplied to them to make their batch of crafts differed in quality.  So much so that these home assemblers claim that it was impossible to assemble the product with the same finish using the material is sent by the company.  Since these same companies also prohibit the home assemble from buying raw materials on their own, home assembly of such a craft becomes futile in nature.
It is unlikely that you will be successful in assembling the given craft at home using inferior quality of materials because this is a crucial point that determines the final finish and a look of the craft.  Inferior quality of raw material means that it tears, breaks, stains and just does not hold up to the rigours of this craft assembling process.

The products that are a part of the basic assemble category where what you mostly need to do this cut and paste the products also suffers from provision of inadequate tools.  For example in a majority of the starter kits you are provided with a knife to cut paper or cloth or wood, whichever of being the building material for your craft. In most cases this knife is flimsy and completely unsuited for cutting raw material.  It is commonly and usefully advised to purchase an Exacto knife for this purpose which may be commonly available at your nearest Wal-Mart store. There is often a bottle of Elmer's glue included with the starter kit if it is required.  This is insufficient in most of the crafting projects. You will be unable to achieve the neatness and the accuracy in your work using this regular glue.  You are also better advised to have a low-temperature glue gun for more accurate pasting and assembling of the craft. This works out in the long run as well as any crafting guide would suggest that you use a low-temperature glue gun for making crafts that require fine and careful handling.
If indeed you intend to work with home based assembling jobs and projects these tools will come in handy and serve you for your future work as well.  Consider it an investment well made.

The summary of this post is that providing in adequate tools not only increases the expenditure of the home assemble in buying the extra tools such as a good cutting knife and a low-temperature glue gun, but the bad quality of raw materials makes it impossible to be able to finish the craft with neatness and the same exactness of design and quality as is required by the assemble at home company in order to get approved and paid by them.

Misleading Sales Copies Of Websites and Brochures:

This complaint is somewhat similar of the one in which the home assemblers complained that the craft was too complicated and difficult to assemble at home using their bare hands. There are two common ways in which you can receive information about the product assemble company and their craft that they offer for assembling at home.  The easiest way is to browse through their website but unfortunately the majority of the assembling at home companies do not have this interface.  The second method is in fact what the majority of assemble companies use.  They list of our postbox undress and expect you to send them herself and rest and stamped envelope in which they in turn stuff there brochure and product details and mail it back to you.  Whichever may be the option, the complaint here is that the copies of her websites and the brochures are entirely misleading.
We would be inclined to agree with this complaint.  If you visit the website of some of the product assembling companies you will realise that it sounds like any home based offer where there are desperate to sell you something that sounds too good to be true.  We know from experience that these kind of websites and home based work programmes are only interested in getting you to send them your money by means of a registration fee.  It is often said and strongly advised not only by this website but several official agencies such as The Better Business Bureau that sending in money to any work at home program is entirely risky and should be avoided whenever possible.
The way the websites or the brochures of a majority of the product assemble at home jobs reads makes it sound extremely simple and easy to on hundreds of dollars every week.  They emphasise on points like there is no experience required and that you can take as much time as you like to assemble their craft at home.  You should be wary of any work at home program that sounds like making it easy money doing very little work.  This is never the case with any real job home based on not.  The most successful people at their jobs or in business are the ones that work hard, have qualifications or have learned from experience.  There are no secrets to making easy money from home online or offline.  If there was indeed such as secret they would not be sold to anyone who wished to buy for a few dollars.

The legitimate assemble at home jobs will always provide a customer care number so that you can speak to representative who can guide you accurately as to the difficulty level involved with making crafts for them.

It is good advice to practise making crafts at home before you decide to work with any assembling at home jobs.  You can do this by picking up a craft project either from the Internet or from a crafting book.  You should try and see if you can make the craft with any level of accuracy and exactness.  This is a simple procedure that will help you figure out whether you are suited for assembling jobs at home are not, especially if you are unsure of your crafting skills.

The summation of this information is that many home assemblers who have tried to work with certain product assembling companies claims that it is a scam just like any other home based scam like data entry, form filling, ad posting, envelope stuffing and the list goes on and on. You are duped into sending money to company claiming to be a crafting business that offers assemble at home jobs to people interested in working from home and earning money by making simple crafts at home.  Once you have sent in the registration fee and bought the raw materials from such a company you are set to make a craft that is either impossible to accomplish or one that will never meet the approval standards of the company when you send it in.  Either way such a company is never going to end up paying you and simply going to pocket your registration money.

Anonymous Post Box Addresses:

This fact is perhaps the biggest giveaway of a product assembly company not being exactly kosher. The majority of them provide only a postbox address as means of communication.  You are supposed to send a self addressed and stamped envelope to these companies if you want more information.  They in turn stuff this envelope with their brochure and project information and mail it back to you.  This brochure of his commonly made colourful and attractive with alluring promises of easy income.  They do their best to convince you that you are in a position to make hundreds of dollars every single week and do not require any prior work experience.
Why are you only have the copy of their very attractive and convincing brochure to make your decision on you really do not know where exactly this product assembly company is located or what it's business profile is like.
Since these companies do not have a presence on the Internet it is not possible for you to check them up with official agencies like The Better Business Bureau.  You only have to rely on their word and the faceless entity that you are communicating with.  When you send them money for registration fee, in case you do decide to fall for the offer, you have no idea where your money is headed or who is receiving it.  You are in opposition to decide that the people you are sending the money to in the faction of a crafting business that hires home based assemblers to assemble crafts for them. They are simply a post box addresses.  Nothing more.

Be very wary of companies that do not provide additional information about themselves or do not make a representative of the company to speak with you in order to clarify your doubts and problems.  Under most circumstances you should absolutely refuse to work with an entity that claims to be the home job or home employment provider that requires you to send them money to join their home based in compliance and specially when they maintain an anonymous identity. Any legitimate business will not shy from revealing information about its business profile, physical location, name of the person in charge and means of contacting them which includes phone, fax and e-mail.  Ask yourself this, do you know of any legitimate business, right down to the small store around the corner from where you live, that does not have a physical address, a phone or and e-mail?  Just answering that simple question will tell you why you should avoid product assembly company's that hide behind the anonymity of post box addresses.

The summation of this post is the complaint of product assemblers who have had experience with working with such companies who only give out their postbox addresses as means of contact with them. After deciding to join such a company, people have sent in their finished and assembled batch of crafts only to find that they were constantly rejected.  On trying to get a refund from the company they found it impossible to do so because they had no idea what the address of such an assembly company or the person in charge was.  Since they had no presence on the web, there was no way to look up information on the business via agencies such as The Better Business Bureau.  All they could do was sending in male to the post box address which predictably went unanswered.  It is common for people to stop trying after a few times to get their money back as they figure that it is not worth their time. They accept that they were scammed. They learn, and sometimes do not, from the experience and move on.

Assemble Miniature Boxes, Dollhouses, Bows At Home

Speaking of the pop group crafts that you can assemble at home, we cannot really go ahead without speaking of the products available with Cottage Industries.  There are approximately 5 items available that you can assemble at home.  Four of these are miniature boxes made of wood.  These four boxes of varying difficulty requiring different level of crafting skill. One such a box is a dollhouse while the other three jewellery boxes.  The difficulty required to make each of these boxes is specified when you view the products on the company's Web site.  The design of these boxes is more or less the same and they are all about 1 inch high, 1 inch wide and .75 inch deep.  As you will realise these are extremely tiny items and you shall only endeavour to make them if you are good with making tiny things with your hands.  Making miniature craft is not everybody's cup of tea.

Dollhouse Gift Boxes

assemble miniature bows at home

Miniature bows - Another product with cottage industries that you can assemble at home is miniature bows.  These are again extremely tiny crafts about the size of one dime.  The bow is made up of ribbon which is made by wrapping it around a special bow maker that is provided to you by the company.  You will be using paint and glue possibly a hot and glue gun to make this craft.  While a majority of the crafts available to assemble at home with this company are woodwork items miniature bows is the only craft that is that of basic product assembling.  You can choose to assemble this product if you are not to deft or comfortable with woodworking. Since this is a fairly simple item you are required to make 400 of these to complete one finished batch.  You are paid $.25 per piece which means that if your complete batches accepted you get paid hundred dollars for assembling these miniature bows at home.

Cottage industries, however, does come highly recommended because it is one of the verifiable assemble at home companies.  Judging from the few feedbacks that feed had come to people who have worked for cottage industries it is possible that the whole process of getting approved to assemble products at home does take a while.  So be prepared to be waiting for several weeks before you are doing home assembly for their crafts.

Please note that you are paid on a per piece basis.  Which means that if in finished batch there are a few items that do not match the company inspection, you are paid for the once that up to the standard.
We mention the products of this company because this company seems to be fairly upright and honest.  It lists its address and the address of its crafting store on the website.  You are allowed to visit the store and we will examples of the craft that you will be making for them. You can even take up your starter kit and drop off your finished batch of assemble products at their store.
The photographs of these five products that you can assemble at home with cottage industries are given alongside on this post.

Products and Services

This work at home opportunity offers a "start up" kit for making hand-crafted country barn picture frames. The cost of the kit is $18.00 plus $27 for paperwork and shipping making the total cost to the consumer $40.00. The company states in its literature: "You work for yourself, so you are your own employer...We will furnish payment records to you and the IRS as required by law, at the end of the year when our payments to you exceed $600.00 in one year." We wish to caution consumers that this company is asking for social security numbers upfront on its paperwork. The BBB cautions that you are in no way obligated to give such personal information to any entity that states that you are your OWN employer. If you do business with this group, you do so at your own risk. Often times, in dealing with "assembly-style" work-at-home opportunities, once you have purchased supplies and have done the work, the company decides not to pay you because your work does not meet certain "standards." You are then left with merchandise that is difficult or impossible to sell.

E-commerce and dedicated Web hosting

We spoke of e-commerce hosting in a previous post briefly.  Let us cover other aspect of e-commerce which is that of a dedicated server.  You may or may not make a conscious decision of choosing a dedicated server for your e-commerce Web site.  There are a few major Web hosting companies, Yahoo being the most recognized, that hot offers an e-commerce solution for your business without having to go in for the dedicated server individually and independently.  When you choose the e-commerce option with  Yahoo! Web hosting solution they automatically ensure that the requisite amount of bandwidth space and security is provided to your business.  But let us speak of the advantages and requirements for a dedicated server for any e-commerce Web site.

The first question that you may ask yourself is what exactly is a dedicated server
a majority of the Web hosting its packages on the Web belong to that of shared Web hosting.  Here a website is hosted along with several other websites on the same server.  The Web hosting company manages space allocation and bandwidth allocation amongst these various different websites on the same server in order to ensure that they get optimal speeds and bandwidth at all times.  In case you have a website that has a very high amount of traffic then being hosted on a shared server might not only throw other websites on the same server off-track but may cause downtime problems for your website as well.  A shared server is typically programmed for a average amount of data transfer and space allocation for each website.  The company also considers the history and the trend of the website to determine the amount of space required by it.  So any large amount of traffic and data transfer from your website might prove to be more than the sheer that is a located to your website on the same server.  Not only that but if your website is that of an e-commerce Web site then added situates security is also required.  All this can be managed by having a dedicated server which means that the entire service is dedicated completely to hosting your website and your business.

Hosting a website on a dedicated server is an expensive option which can cost from hundreds to thousands of dollars every month.  But it is equally true that the major Web hosting services on the Web and to employ a dedicated server for their hosting.  They do this because there are some very obvious advantages to having a dedicated server for your e-commerce business.  Some of these advantages are as follows

added security: dedicated servers in case the security of the website tremendously.  Having a dedicated server means that no other Webmaster shares the same IP address as your website and you have a complete control of all features regarding the Web hosting service.  You control the entire server with no other Webmaster having excess to that very server.

Storage: storage has somewhat become a redundant factor while choosing a Web hosting service as most of the Web hosting plans now allowed for an unlimited amount of disks for its storage.  This however is not the entire story.  While they allow for unlimited storage certain Web hosting solutions put a limitation on the number of files that you can store on the server.  For example if the number of files that you are allowed to vote on an shared server is 25,000 then you cannot exceed these number of files be it pictures, Web pages, with tears or any other regardless of what the size of these individual files is.  This means that you are allowed to put only 25,000 files on your server which mean in turn and collectively be of an unlimited size.  An e-commerce Web site not only is highly trafficked but also has a love content on it.  It makes sense to have a dedicated server as there are absolutely no limitations in terms of storage space.

Data transfer: if your website handles a large amount of traffic, meaning people visiting your website, then there is also going to be an equally large amount of data transfer from your website.  Each time a person loads a page or buy is the product or opens an image file, some data is transferred from the server to the computer of the user.  Having the entire server dedicated to the traffic coming to your website means that you get fast speeds at all times and do not suffer due to the traffic on the other websites.

A dedicated server comes with a host of services and features that you are completely in control of.  You can control every single aspect of hosting for your website which is almost like having a miniature were boasting solution or a company of your very own.

The only thing about having a dedicated server that sets a Webmaster that is the sheer cost of it.  A dedicated server only makes sense for websites doing a large amount of business and facing a huge amount of traffic and bandwidth.  Either of these websites require a dedicated service because they will perform more optimally and will have added security which is in dire need of any online business is as it will be dealing with sensitive data are like credit card information, personal details of its customers, details of the products being sold and other sensitive data.  Bandwidth also plays an equally important part else you can be over and build four and exceeded bandwidth in case you are limited by your shared Web hosting company in some way and you happen to exceed that man with due to a large amount of traffic.  It is

All in all it is up to you to decide whether you need a dedicated server or not.  If you feel that the factors that are mentioned as key features and advantages of a dedicated Web hosting apply to you than perhaps it is time and you require meant to have a dedicated server.

ValerieHattery.tk - assemble bookmarks, refrigerator magnets, christmas angels

Let us speak of another product assembling company that goes by the name of ValerieHattery.tk, also know as Angelic Creations.  This is a rather popular name in the community of product and craft assembling and I am sure several of few to have already heard about it.  Why we want to mention this company in the top list of the product assembling companies is that it is one of the very rare crafting businesses that has an excellent rating and standing with the better business bureau.  It has a rating of a class.  This is the highest rating that the better business bureau gives to any business on company.  This goes a long way in establishing the credibility and honesty of the company.  Not only are the reports could but it is also an accredited business with the better business bureau.  It can be noted here that for a business to become accredited by the better business bureau it has to fulfil certain guidelines and provide certain information along with having to pay a certain free to get certified in such a manner.

Vallerie Hattery
Name: Valerie's Hattery Inc. Phone: (231) 228-4562
Address: PO Box 5250 Traverse City, MI 49696-5250

On visiting the website of this company you will see many crafting products that are available to the home assembler to make.  The proprietor of the company states candidly that this work is only meant for those who enjoy craft work as a hobby.  The idea is specify clearly and accurately the there is not much money to be made out of it and it should not be treated as the home based work offer.
We feel this is the great statement to make sense we feel it is acutely true for all product assembling home-based work of us.  There is not much money to be made out of doing this kind of work at home.  It is mainly meant for people who enjoy crafting as a hobby.
There are no records whatsoever with us or even the better business bureau that the product assembling jobs at home have made people are substantial amount of income for a sustained period of time.  The better business bureau reports that it has no record whatsoever in their nationwide files of anybody having been successful at making a substantial home based income doing this kind of work.
ValerieHattery.tk is the popular company because it offers simple crafts and a clear business profile.
This is a good company to work for if you are crafting hobbyist.  You will not stand to make much money but will enjoy the crafts and the knowledge that you are actually making a little profit out of it, small as it may be.
ValerieHattery.tk also allows you to buy your own materials from the market as just another company that we have spoken of earlier that goes by the name of cottage industries.
I don't believe there is any sort of our time limit in which you are expected to finish making the batch of crafts.  You can take any amount of time as possible.
This would have seemed strange for any other business that was claiming to be a serious crafting business.  They would have had to meet deadlines and cater to the supply and demand chain and hence could not really afford not to implement the finishing deadline for their home-based workers.
But as mentioned before the profile of ValerieHattery.tk states that the work is of a nonserious nature and Mentmore for enjoyment and fun of the craft rather than as a home based income job.  So in this case it is all right that witchery does not have a deadline for its home-based assemblers.
You can view the website and call up their phone number to speak to a customer service representative.

Magical Gift Company / New England Crafters

Let us talk about other popular and a prominent product assembling company that goes by the name of magical gift dollhouse is or the new England crofters both of which our the name for the same company.  Before we start say anything about this company you should note that like many others this company to as a poor rating with the better business bureau.  The report in the bureau says that the last time the check the address for the company was not valid.  The mean that they sent to the offices of the company came back to them as being undeliverable.  Now I was a little surprised to read this is the is a robust community of people who is working for new England crofters.  There is a huge thread devoted to the New England craft is on the website that goes by the name of WAHM.com.  You can find several dozens of people who are actively involved in making crafts for the magical gift houses or New England crofters.
Why I am particularly impressed by this company is because they have the very own crafting store which you can pay them a visit in order to speak to someone face-to-face before starting to work for them.  This goes a long way in proving that the company does actually have a physical presence and actually does business with the crafts that they make.  Once you visit the website you also realised that they have a list of impressive craft items that you can very well CB in demand and being sold.  Most of the time a problem that crops up with a lot of product assembling companies that you come by is that you find it hard to imagine how the products the in the business of making could actually have a demand in any sort of crafting market.  The new England crofters is different.  They have extremely likeable and professional looking crafts that can very well be sold as respectable and decently placed and priced craft items.  Some of the product at the assembling companies that pay you or rather promise to pay you to the dunes of several hundreds of dollars for making a batch of inane craft items makes you wonder how do they actually managed to make a profit by selling them as who would be willing to pay a high price for such items.
The new England crofters does not fooled around with having miniature is and other such nonsense kind of crafts which are so popular with some other well-known product assembling companies.  They have normal regular crafts such as a snowman, stuffed toys, and other such feasible items.
Given these facts it is also safe to assume as I'm sure you have by now that these crafts are not exactly simple.  While the reason awaking level of difficulty in their crafts all of them require distinctive crafting skills.  If you are completely unexperienced or unsure of your crafting ability than I recommend first giving making crafts at home short all by yourself.  Look for free craft projects on the Internet as there are several available or by crafting book and tried to make those items at home.  Only if you can manage to achieve these crafts with a satisfactory level of perfection should you attempt to work for the new England crofters.

There is the phone number given on the website of the company for a dedicated customer care representative.  When you call-up this person you can address your enquiries regarding the work and the work difficulty.  This person will help you in picking up the right crafts you based on your craft level.  If you are not experienced and wish to start with a simpler product then you should specify this to the agent you are talking to and they would make a suitable recommendation.

The approval process
the approval process for this company is also critical.  Once you have purchased their starter kit which is for about 30 to 40 to $50 you will receive all the raw materials and the tools required to make the craft by made.  It then certain items that you are advised to purchase on your own in case you want extra accuracy in making the craft.  For example you are strongly advised to buy our exact though cutting knife and a good quality glue gun for a better finished craft.  These are usually available at the nearest Wal-Mart store.  In order to get approved for working with the new England crofters you need to make one single craft and send it to the company for approval.  You keep sending this one single craft till you get approved.  Every time that you do not the company sends back the craft items with instructions and reports as to where you went wrong and how to make it correct.  Only when you are approved.  Only once you have managed to make this single item with accuracy does the company approved view of making the rest of the batch.  This means that you do not have to waste time making the complete batch and sending it to the company and having it rejected because it didn't need the quality standards.

Know What You Are Getting Into

Perhaps it is the various sales copies of product assembling websites that are to be blamed, but people as a general get the wrong impression about home-based product assembling jobs to begin with.  They tend to assume that the work is extremely simple and that they can make hundreds of dollars every week by doing this job.  They are also led to believe that they do not need any experience and they can manage find with whatever skills they have or do not have.  The truth of the matter is quite different.  Making crafts is not a job that everybody can accomplish.  Sure everybody can accomplish it but not everybody can make it to the kind of perfection that may be required in this kind of a work at home job.

People who are searching for product assembling jobs mostly come across to kind of websites.  Number one, they can come across the actual website of product assembling company such as tiny details, artistes and Corporation of America and so on or they may come across a third-party Web site that is selling the directory listing of the various product assembling companies and job offers.
Letters discuss the first want.  Needless to say most of the product assembling companies are not truthful in their offer of four of home-based job opportunity.  I think this is a plain fact that you should be made aware of right at the very beginning.  So what happens when you do come across the website of a company that is masquerading as the product assemble and crafting company is that you see tall claims of easy work and lots of money.  Website like this probably goes all out to give you the idea that you do not require any experience of any kind to do this work at home and that even a person with no prior crafting skill or experience can make their products.  This is hardly true.  The description of the products are mostly listed in a manner that makes them seem simple and basic.  Experience has taught many home-based assemblers that even the simple sounding crafts are indeed difficult to make up to their specifications after craft-based assembling.  A classic example of this is the bookmark.  A lot of people search aridly and voraciously to make the simple bookmark at home and make hundreds of dollars making it every single week.  Imagine the surprise when they learned that the seemingly simple bookmark is indeed a difficult one to attain perfection with.  It involves breeding and knocking techniques that make it incredibly hard to get up to the standards of the perfect craft items that is asked for by the product assembling company.
So no matter what you read on the website of a crafting business company or how easy the work of this seems you can take it for granted that it is not so.  In fact if and when you do decide to work for such a company you must make it a point to speak to the representative of the company in great detail about the difficulty level involved.  It is also a very good idea to speak to someone else who is working for the same company and get first on experience from him or her.  You can try and locate these people on the Internet or you can ask the company to referee you to a few of its home-based assemblers.  The latter option however, you may not get much success with as only the very established and the completely genuine product assembling company will give you the names of the people who are working for them.
An excellent point comes to mind when I say this.  There is a product and craft assembling company that goes by the name of magical gift houses or the New England craft is that actually maintains a list of the people who are working for them on their website.  If you apply to work for this company and you get a proved to work for them your name kits listed along with all the others on their website as well.

Let us discuss the second kind of website that you might come across.  These are the websites that came to be having hundreds of product assembling jobs in the dietary and ask for a sign up the in order to receive this information.  The seals copy on the website actually makes it sound like they are the ones who are providing the employment.  Nothing could be further from the truth.  The truth is that they merrily have compiled a list of all the product assembling companies that do exist or have known to exist in the past.  The website that is selling such a list has absolutely nothing to do with any of these companies and not to take any responsibility for providing or ensuring that you do get work as a home-based craft assembling.  But their website will say things like you are guaranteed employment and an income of several hundreds of dollars every week.  These kind of websites are perhaps the most misleading as they are only interested in selling you did compiled a list and offer no assistance in actually helping you get the job.  Once you have bought the list from them you are left on your own to choose out of the various company names that they have provided you with.  The website will also claim that they have checked and cross checked all the companies listed with the and that they are all genuine.  This is also not the truth the fact is that most of the product assembling companies are doubtful and known to be scams.  They do not reveal this fact you while making their sales pitch.  We extremely wary of the website is trying to sell you several hundreds of product assembling jobs.  Please know that you do not have to pay a single penny to excess the names of all the product assembling companies.  No matter which website is trying to sell you this list you should know that the list is completely the same.  The same names have been sold for eight years after years.  Only the look and the seals copy of the websites keeps changing.  The list remains absolutely the same.  You can access this list at absolutely no cost you hear.  Click on the link and you can view almost 100 product assembling companies.

The point that we have been trying to make at this post is that people have and tend to get our misleading idea about product assembling jobs when they first come across it.  They get into it expecting a simple and it easy job that they will simply sailed through without any age.  This almost never happens.  Most of the people who to work with product assembling at home hobbyists and craft is who enjoy making craft is at home.  Most of these people do not do it for the money but to it because it has been a hobby with them for a long time.
So if you think that anybody and everyone can make the crafts that are available to available that the product assembling company then you are mistaken.  This work is only for one that possesses the crafting skill and that to an immaculate skill where you are able to make a craft absolutely perfectly.

Before you sign up to work with any product assembling company and in case you are unsure of your ability to make the items we recommend the following process.  Try and making a simple craft at home one that ideally matches to provide off the company that you are trying to work with.  This can be easily accomplished as there are several craft projects available on the Internet with complete and detailed instructions.  You can even pick up a book on crafting from your nearest bookstore.  Try in making the crafts listed their.  If you are a new craft then start with the easier ones and try to upgrade your skill to the more difficult and the tricky ones.  This will give you a fair idea of how good you are at making crafts and how much you actually enjoy it.  Making the same craft again and again intend to get pretty monotonous.  You should have the ability and the patience that is required in making a craft that needs to be made to the highest quality and perfection.  When you are making something for personal use you know you can tend to slack off a bit and take help of extra materials.  But product assembling jobs do not allow this sort of our leeway.  You are supposed to make the craft specifically according to the guidelines of the product assembling company and by only using the materials that are approved by them.  You are in most cases forbidden from purchasing materials of your own using different materials than the one that the company sends you.
All this goes on to say that product assembling jobs cannot be managed by everyone even in this scenario that you have actually come across a field and a genuine and an honest product assembling company.  Evaluate and know your skills as a craft before you decide to start working with a craft making company.

The reviews and the ratings

This is the critical part about the profile of any home-based work company business.  Tiny details has been around for several years and has are comprehensive and a professional sounding home based work of.  However, the records and the reviews were the people who have tried to work with tiny details in the past has not been very encouraging.  A lot of people seem to be of the opinion that the description of the products listed on the website is slightly misleading.  This may be true or it may also be true that people do not anticipate the difficulty involved in making miniature items.  Miniature items are suited for people who are deft at making very small things with their hands.  If you find that you are cumbersome at handling small crafts and detailed items with your hands then making miniature crafts might prove to be difficult for you indeed.
Tiny details has received a lot of complaints in the past from the people.  You can read the complete complaint history and the better business report by visiting this section here.

As a general rule you must remember that you should be very careful before starting to work for any company that offers home-based employment.  Any company that charges are free to start working for them creates a room for scepticism.  Although it is quite understandable why a home-based product assembling company might want to charge a certain free as a deposit in order to ensure that they get their things back, the truth of the matter is that most of these product assembling companies are not in a good standing with the better business bureau.  More people have failed at working for these companies and the ones who have actually succeeded.  By succeeded we do not mean getting paid once or twice but generating a substantial income for a sustained period of time.  We have not been able to come up with a lot of good reviews for this company from people who have managed to generate a home-based income by making products for them.  Whenever you are looking for home-based work it is essential that the work beef reliable and designed to provide income to you on a regular basis.  Product and craft assembling jobs in general have failed to accomplish this for the people who have tried that marked.

what is interesting about this posting is that it actually has the rebuttal from someone who actually works in the company or for the company.

here is the post found on telecommuting general.com. Although it is slightly old by a couple of years it has by then drawn several more comments from other people.  It is definitely worth a read

Tiny Details - Enormous Headache
By Lisa, Editor...

I know you think this is a post about how it’s the little things that matter - but it’s not! It’s about a company called Tiny Details! Here’s who they are:

Tiny Details is a home assembly company that creates beautiful and realistic dollhouse miniature accessories. All of our products are assembled in the U. S. A. by people like you who work in their homes at their leisure. Our products are carried by the finest dollhouse miniature retailers.

In a nutshell here’s their pitch (notice the wording - their pitch, their spiel, their line):

You give them a $55 deposit to have them send you a kit of your choice. You assemble the products in the kit and ship them back. They send you the price for the completed products PLUS the $55 deposit PLUS a reimbursement (up to $4) for the shipping charges you incurred. You have 60 days from the postmark date to turn in your work.... Read more...

The report on consumerist.com that claims that the person who had subscribed for working with tiny details actually received some unpleasant mails and notices from the company.... read it here.

everyone who is looking for home based work has probably come across an extremely popular forum by the name of WAHM.com.  It is a very popular discussion forum for people involved in different various aspects of  telecommuting and working from home. you can read this specific thread devoted to information about tiny details.  Read it here.

another interesting article can be found on this thread on the website by the name of associated content.com.  It is by a person that did indeed get paid by tiny details although it took her a long time to complete the process of getting that first initial check.  She does specified that she received payment from tiny details and that it took her about five months to go through the complete process of sending in her Sample for approval, having it sent back to for re doing, sending the whole batch of hundred items and having backed returned to her because of some fault with the packing to the point of finally receiving her payment.
She however does not write further whether she received any more payments from the company or not.  Getting regular and multiple payments for your work from a company is an important factor in determining the stability and the legitimacy of the company. read this article here.

Cottage Industries – assemble miniature dollhouses and jewelry boxes

Cottage Industries
this product assembling company offers products such as dollhouse and jewellery boxes.  Cottage industries is one of the few product assembling companies that seems to be in a relatively good standing with the better business bureau.  Most of craft and product assembling companies have a rating of F with the better business bureau.  This rating is absolutely the lowest that is provided by the bureau based on the company's records for a number of factors such as the transparency of the companies address, phone number and business practices.  Other factors such as the complaint history by its employees, the kind of response given by the product assembling company as well as the nature of the business that a company conducts, all these determine the status that any company holds with the better business bureau.  Cottage industries seems to have satisfied most of this criterion.
As mentioned before this is an assembling company that makes miniature crafts like dollhouse is an jewelry boxes.  At this point you must know that the work of making any mini craft usually involves delicate and careful workmanship at the hands of the craftsmen.  Not everybody can do the job of making miniature crafts.  Some people are deft at the process of making small items with their hands while others just can't manage to do so.  If you belong to the earlier category who are good at handling small crafts by the hands then this probably is the good company to work for.

Name: Cottage Industries Inc.
Phone: (407) 872-0588
Address: PO Box 568904, Orlando, FL 32856
website: cotind.com

Details of the assembling job
the few basic things that you should know about Cottage Industries to begin with.  Their registration fee is relatively higher than most of the product and craft assembling company's.  The charge of $50 registration fee.  But the obvious advantage to this relatively higher registration fee is that you never happen to pay for buying your supply of raw materials.  Usually what happens is that as you finish making your batch of finished crafts, you have to buy more material from the company.  But not in the case of cottage industries.  They claim that they never ever charge you are sending you supplies for your next batch of product and the one after that or ever again.  Cottage Industries have their office in Orlando.  What is interesting about this company is that they have a store where they sell the products that they claim to make and the same ones that you will be making for them.  You are welcome to visit their office and their store any time before 4 p.m..  You will be in the unique position of actually examining the products that you are going to be making as they are on display in the office.  You can also drop off your finished craft at the same office when you are undone making it.  This removes the need for shipping the item once it is made and thus eliminates the time lost in the shipping process.
But above all what this means is that you can have one on one interaction with the people in charge of the company that you are working for.  This kind of transparency in the work policy is a welcome change from the usual subvert trend of the product and the craft assembling community.
You are paid $50 for every batch of finished product.  The number of items in every batch depend on the kind of craft that you have chosen to make in the first place.  This means that the more complicated craft you choose the lesser number they will be in the finished batch.

Refund policy
the refund policy of this company states that they will give you back half of your registration money which is $50 if you return the kit back to them and decide not to work for them.  The kit can be in the used or an unused condition.  Which means that you can either have returned the starter kit completely untouched or you can try and make the craft before sending it back.  You will get the same amount of money from the.

Verification process
Cottage Industries have a unique verification process for the home assemblers.  Once you have registered with them and received your starter kit you will be required to make a single product and send it along to them for inspection.  You do not need to make the complete batch.  Only after your first item is approved you get approved for assembling the rest of the items to finish the complete batch.   this is a good policy as you do not have to waste time in making the whole batch of products for it to only be rejected if it does not meet the designing and the quality standards of the craft making company.

Address
Cottage Industries  have their offices located at 915 Westlake Holden., formely known as 37th St, in Orlando, they run the office from a residential home of South orange blossom trail.  They are there in office Monday to Friday from 9 a.m. until 5 p.m. and you can always call and take an appointment on the phone before paying them a visit. Phone number for the office of Cottage Industries is (407) 872-0588.

We realise that the option of paying them a visit physically or physically picking up and dropping of your supplies and finished goods is not an option for everyone.  But for the people in and around Orlando this is an excellent option.  Another point to be noted about these visits to the office is that if you drop of your finished supply of crafts before 10 p.m. in the morning is immediately sent for inspection and if they get approved your cheque is ready by 4 p.m. the same evening.  If you happen to come by after 10 a.m. your cheque gets ready back the next day provided your finished products meet the approval

The dollhouse gift box -- this box is made of cherry wood that is of the thickness of a dime.  It is about 1 inch high 1 inch wide and about 3/4" deep it has no drawers but opens into two line compartments and the lead that is also lined the materials that you will receive along with this kit is Elton was blue, pattern, knife to cut the wood, where the red ribbon for compartment lining and full and complete directions to make this craft.  You will receive enough materials to make 10 boxes.  Please note that the wood will be needed to cut by you.  Extra material can also be called for in case you require it.  This is rather helpful as first timers can make mistakes while making the box.  Other tools that you may require to make this dollhouse gift box is a scissor and the ruler which is not provided as a part of the starter kit.

The dollhouse one drawer jewelry box -- this box is also made of cherry wood and has the same dimensions as the one mentioned above.  This box is different from the first as it has one drawer and requires you to install hinges for the lid.  For this reason it is considered to be slightly difficult than the first one.  So as a beginner the first item is usually recommended.  You get paid five dollars for each box that you complete correctly.  Here it should be mentioned that you get paid for piece and not per batch.  This means that when you send in a batch of finished products and if some items meet the approval standards while others do not your whole batch does not get rid rejected fully.  You still get paid for the crafts that you made correctly.

The dollhouse three drawer jewelry box -- this box is made of cherry wood and has the same dimensions as the one mentioned above.  You will receive almost the same from materials as the first two boxes and the wood will be needed to cut by you. extra material is available in all these options.  As the title suggests this box has three drawers but does not have any hinges.  This box is also considered to be relatively easy to make.

The dollhouse one drawer silver chest - this chest is made of cherry wood and is about the thickness of a dime.  It is 1 inch high, 1 inch wide and about 1 -- 1/8 inch deep. The raw materials are pretty much the same as for the above boxes.

Miniature bows -- if you choose to make this craft remember that you will need to make a set of 4 hundred  bows to complete the full batch.  You get paid hundred dollars for each approved bow.  While all the products mentioned so far involve wood working this craft is for those who would like to do something else.  These bows about the size of a dime and made of ribbon which is wound on special bow maker that is provided to you.  You will use pins, glue and low-temperature glue gun.  You get paid $.25 per each bow that you make.  The same policy regarding getting paid per item rather than per batch applies to this craft as well.  You will get paid for all the items in the batch of 400 bows that meet the quality approval standard.

Why Do People Fail At Product Assembling Jobs

The truth of the matter is that more people failed at assembling products at home than ones that succeed.  There are a lot of theories offered for this.  Some say that the offer of working from home by making simple crafts and products is misleading.  What you read on the Web sites of several product assembling companies is that the work will be relatively easy and you will be able to make several hundred dollars a week.  Experience has taught us and many other people who have tried doing these simple craft making jobs at home that this is not the case.  In fact, most of the time the craft that has to be made is a tedious work of art.  Apart from this sum people who have tried assembling products at home also say that the matter how hard you try you will never be able to make the craft exactly up to the expectations of the company.  This is not necessarily because you are not able to meet the standards of the company but because the product assembling company is defiant and decided on not excepting any finished batches.  They are only interested in making you spend money buying their starter kit and raw materials for making the craft from them.
If we look at the various reasons why a lot of people have had their finished in batch of products rejected by the company you will also find a certain group of people claiming that the raw material sent by the company is faulty to begin with.  What these people are trying to say is that it is impossible to make the finished craft using the material sent by the company.  And the same companies prohibit you from buying better quality raw material on your own.  The only reason that comes to mind as to why our craft making company would do this is that they do not want their home assemblers to be able to make the craft that they have been designated to make.  And why they would want such a thing is because it had no intention of paying the people who have bought the raw materials from them and want to work for them.
A lot of product assembling companies offer to send a sample of the craft along with the start up kit.  Some people have complained in the past that the sample supplied by the company is made from different or better raw materials than the one that the company sends to them.  Sometimes the sample craft is made using slightly different and better techniques which on the other hand are prohibited to the assembler.  Sometimes extra material such as glue or strings is used to make the sample product but the same is not provided to the person assembling that product at home.  And as mentioned earlier the assembler is prohibited from using extra materials that has not been supplied to him or her by the company.
The point of view being covered here is that some product assembling companies deliberately try and make it impossible for the person to be able to make their craft at home.  The description and sales copy on the website reads differently from what the actual truth of the matter is.  It is safe to say sometimes it is misleading and false.
