The amount of money you make depends on the number of units you assemble so, theoretically speaking, the more you work the more you will earn. But this too is dependent on several other factors. You will probably take a couple of weeks before you can start working with the assembly company full-time. This duration includes the time that is spent in contacting and communicating the employer. After your registration fee has been processed and you have been dispatched your starter kit you may still take a few weeks to finally get approved to work. The approval process is generally about making one sample of the product that you are supposed to assemble. Only when your sample gets approved by the assembly company are you allowed to work. So you can expect your income to be nothing at all in the first month or so of starting up.

Once you have started working full-time for the company your work is slow owing to the fact that you are new to making the particular craft. You may require much practice by making the first several units before you are able to turn out the respectable number of batches every month. Till the time that your work is slow and tedious and the output limited, your income will also be slow and limited in a similar fashion.

What can be said with absolute certainty is that you should not believe the tall claims you may read on certain websites and advertisements regarding product assembly jobs at home. These are exaggerated. They are not impossible just improbable to achieve in the beginning. It is the idealistic measure of income. An income of several hundreds of dollars every week, as stated by most of the product assembly jobs, can be earned by making the maximum number of units every week. But experience and feedback as shown this to be an unlikely situation, specially for the beginner.

What is also true is that there is always a potential for growth. If you feel that you cannot make a particular craft any faster than you already are, then you can always sign up with another craft company. Assembling two or more products at home simultaneously will serve to enhance your monthly income.
